The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences is a vibrant and diverse college that seeks to enhance quality of life through research, outreach and practice. Our mission is “to promote a healthy, educated, and civil society; to encourage life-long learning; and to enhance the quality of life within the diverse, global community by preparing professionals to lead and serve through research and engagement in outreach activities.” In alignment with that mission our vision is “to be nationally and internationally recognized for our rich academic programs, highly qualified faculty and staff, and diverse and academically talented student population.” The college aspires to build on it already strong reputation in ways that enhances student learning, creates new knowledge through research, and positively impacts our world on local-to-global levels.
